Procare Vision Center of Troy is an individually owned practice, opened in 1994 by Dr. Carolyn J. (Steele) Davis.  The office is located in the Trojan Village Shopping Center off of Dorset and Main St.  For the past sixteen years, Dr. Davis and her highly trained technical staff have been serving the Miami County and surrounding area with personalized professional service.  We would like to thank the Miami County for the support which has allowed us to grow into a successful practice. In July of 2005, Dr. Faith O. Salyer joined the Procare team.  She has been serving Miami County and specializing in contact lenses and pediatrics since 1992. We also added an additional exam room and updated the examination equipment enabling us to use the latest technology available to achieve the best results possible. Both doctors are active members of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Chamber of Commerce.  The doctors of Procare Vision Center are the only doctors in Troy to participate in the InfantSEE program, which provides infants under 12 months with a free initial eye exam.  We also work with the Lions Club, the Health Department, Health Partners of Miami County and the Vision USA program to provide free/reduced cost eyecare to the needy and working citizens without insurance.  We also raised and donated $2,100 to the American Red Cross for the victims of the hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Last year through our yearly Ladies Night we collected food and feminine products which were donated to the First Place Food Pantry.  The Procare staff also participated in the 2009 Cancer Society's Walk for Life Relay and help raise several hundred dollars.

At Procare Vision Center, our goal is to provide the ultimate eye care experience for our patients.  The patient care staff undergo continual training, and we only use and provide our patients with the best options available in eyecare in order to improve the visual performance of our patients.  Our commitment is to exceed the expectations of each patient, by delivering quality products and services in a courteous and professional manner.
